Kain is as good as dead.

Everything Kain can do, Spawn from the Second Era as King of Hell can do better. All the things Spawn did in his First Era (including defeating Maleborgia) he did constantly holding back. In the second Era he cuts loose and is basically around skyfather level in the Spawn Universe. Kain is dead, he Soul Reaver isn't going to have any effect on Spawn.
