Why do people lie about feats?

As the title says.

If your character sucks, just accept it.

Its one thing to misunderstand a feat, but don't lie about it, or make excuses for it.

Which characters whose feats have you seen people lie about, out of curiosity?

Carver lied about feats yesterday in the Mongul vs Hulk thread.

Because they're insecure and feel an emotional attachment to a character they like, so they have to give the illusion of superiority by lying out of their ass about feats.

-Outskirt Battledome aren't really liars, the problem is that they're just so ****ing stupid and delusional that they actually believe the things they say even when proven wrong.
