Its not based on who the better fighter is at all, whereas Death Battle relies on "research" apparently, though seems pretty shitty at doing said research.
With superpower beatdown, fans just vote for whoever they think should win, or even who they just plain WANT to win.

Pretty much, though would argue it has more entertainment value than death battle just on the fight scenes (and sometimes character portrayals) alone, and they almost always do alternate ending videos to compensate for the losers that often shouldve won, so could be worse.
But SPBD doesnt have consistent enough releases to really warrant its own thread like DB imo.
