Respect The Human Torch!

Whoooa, over forty years in comics! Since Human Torch is one of the most featured Marvel Characters ever, this list is going to be big! (I hope so.)

1. Human Torch takes a direct hit from Terminus, a Class 100 character. In milliseconds, he makes his flame hot enough to melt the ground he is flying onto, burning his way to a underground cave. He was not knocked out through the entire ordeal.

2. Human Torch melts the roof of Four Freedoms Plaza, stopping the movement of the Fantasticar. Reed Richards comments that there is no-one who knows the properties of fire better then Human Torch.

That duplicate thing is cool. IIRC, he used that to good effect against Graviton once.

Torch did pretty well in CoCII.... took out She-Hulk by just standing there and giving her heat-stroke

In Marvel Knights Spider-Man #17 or #18 the new superhero revealed to be a Skrull flies into the Thing and carries him off at a speed calculated by Reed to be Mach 3. The Human Torch flies after them and catches up in no time (sorry, don't have any scans).

He is spidey's best pal. He built the spider car and the police chased spiderman all across the city.

I respect his powers, but that's about it.

Watching him flying kind of helped me imagine the new Superman-that was cool.

I know technically he wasnt the Human Torch then, but can someone post scans of when Johnny Storm was the Herald of Galactus known as the Invisible Man?

Some feats are:
-took a blast (specifically eye beams) from Galactus and didnt fall.
-was stated by Galactus to have more cosmic power than almost any herald ever.
-disarmed hundreds of nuclear warheads in seconds.
-after disarming the warheads, the warheads itself was still gonna hit the earth, just as scrap metal, so he put a huge forcefield about a quarter of the way around the earth.
-tore Karragan (a herald-level guy) in half, literally, and didnt even mean to.
-provided enough raw cosmic power for a special Quantum-Cannon to defeat Galactus.

Actually thats not the case.

Here the Thing flew Nick Fury's ship into the Fish Monster's mouth and the Torch just saved his rocky butt.
