Martian Manhunter is pretty respected here on this forum. But seemly only for his telepathy. Martian Manhunter is the Ultimate Swiss Army Knife. It's almost ridiculous of the amount of powers he has.

isnt MM like half celestial half deviant or somethin...i know he is atleast class 15 and has enhanced human durability..but what else can he do?.......wasn't he like a herald of galactus once? or something?

The original Timely Vision, a Jack Kirby creation. Ill-defined powers, green alien looking guy, and destroyer of evil. He was part of some ambiguous police-force, akin to the Manhunters.

Ah.

Yeah. Aarkus came out in the mid-forties, and I think the creators at DC saw promise in the archetype, and created J'onn in the fifties to utilize it.
