Controversial films such as Irreversable and Battle Royale, normally strike a cord. World Cinema films i believe are the best around, your offered a range that doesnt exist in mainstream cinema, as in hollywood its the same old same old. Take Intacto a masterful film about peoples luck in the world, Man bites dog a belgium film in a documentary style, following a hitman around on his daily routine. so original and witty. A more mainstream film, basket ball diaries, masterfully acted in my opinion with fantastic subtle undertones. These kind of films are brilliant as they offer something diferent. |
