HI my name is Joalisa Amarra De Jesus Picart. Really if I was living in Puerto Rico I could have two last names, I am living in USA so I have one last name, my last name is De Jesus. Anyway my point is I am writing this story tell about my life and myself confidence.
I was born in Puerto Rico on July 15 1987, was only a few mouths when I moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA. I moved here because of my health problem and that how I became Hard-of-Hearing.
I was only five years old when I went back to visit Puerto Rico. I have a lot of memories from my visit to Puerto Rica. Sometime when I look back I though was jealous of me. Now I think she was justed mad because she did not have a birthday party. Now I had embassies myself because I don/t remember her name. On I am think I am getting her name. Her name is ………Ekek.
When I went to Puerto Rico it was near my birthday. He birthday was on July 4 1987. My y family had a party for me. She got mad. When I was playing piñata, my cousin was near me and I hilted her my mistake. She fell on the floor. My aunt came walking to her. My cousin blames me, so my aunt asked, “ What happen?” Slice I didn’t understand what was she or my sister Yari saying I just said “ I don’t know.” And I didn’t get in trouble. Then later Ekek get “Put the tail on the donkey” game off of me when I was having a fun by myself playing with the game. She said, “The game is over you lose” I made a face that said “ So what!” Then she said “ it is mine game, my mom brought it for Me.” then my sister Gissy “ No she did not. She might ask you if it was good game for the party. But she did not brought for, she brother for her for her birthday party.” Ekek said “ No! It is mine!” She took and ran with it. We tried to run after her but too many things were in the way. My sister said, “ Forget her. Let her have it. She is just a cry baby.” Then later She started crying because her neighbors were talking me and my sister and not her. Her mom said “ Ekek! Girl! Stop being a Crybaby. Let them talk to your cousins. You can’t tell them who do or don’t talk to. Plus you see them everyday. Your cousins don’t because they live in Philadelphia. So stop. Leave them alone.” They left us alone. We were like “ Oh my gosh.” Ekek was always getting in trouble at my birthday party. Now I have not see her or her family for a very long time. I love them and I miss them.
I have two sisters and one brother. Their names are Alba Yarida De Jesus and Alba Giselle De Jesus. My brother name is Saulo Andres De Jesus. My mom’s name is Alba Iris Picart De Jesus and my dad is Andres De Jesus.
I go to Pennsylvania School For The Deaf. I had met a lot of people. My best friend is Sharee Smith. My favorite teacher is Caroline Swan. My favorite person is Debbie Tragdon and Prinne. I had been going to PSD since 1999.
My favorite subject is English. That Why6 I love to read and write. My second favorite is Youth Work. My third is Social Studies. I hate math and science.
I love English so much that I am a good writer. I am writing for newspaper, and I had written for ESDAA sport reporter race during 2003- 2004-basketball season.
I don’t just only write, but also help my mom baby-sit sometime. I work at Mercy hospital and tutor for two kids on two days. I also join Friday’s night live (FNL) sometime I work at FNL.
I am a Christian. I go to church on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I don’t go to church like I supple to, sometime I skip church, but most of the time I go to church Tuesday and 0undays. Fridays if I don’t join FNL.
I grew up in the church. The name of the church is LA Primitiva. I had met a lot of people. They are like a family to me. My favorite people from that church are Emma, Fen Marie Rio, Japhet Rio and Eduardo (Eddie) Perez. I joined many socially in that church. First I joined the kids (Nino) group. Then I grew too old for that now I am joining the Jovenes (Teenagers) group.
When I was in six grades, I had my first boyfriend. His name was Robert Rodriguez. He was very handsome. We had been dating each other for two months. He misunderstood me about another boy. He thought I was playing on him. I never and never will play on my boyfriend not even one of them, I don’t like my boyfriend to play on me. If I really love my boyfriend love I could not play on him. Plus I don’t like hurting people feeling. I hate seeing people sad or mad.
I met Robert in Widener Memorial School. That were I went from kindergarten to sixth grade. I really met Robert in preschool. That is another school that I went to. But I didn’t remember him so we start over again in Widener. Now since I moved to PSD, I had not see him for a long time.
My best friend at Widener was Davona. We had some problem before we had become best friend. My close friend was William.
My second boyfriend was Eduardo Perez JR. We were dating since the of 2002, and we are still together, even though we had broke up a few time. We can’t sand being separate from each other. I think it is because the way he look and his personally. He is very handsome. I know him since 1991. I hope we stay together forever and never broken up again.
In 2002, my mom and dad gave me a sweet 15-birthday party.
A lot of people came. It was like a wedding. My favorite aunt Marisa helps out. Eight girls came out. I had got a lot of stuff.
For myself I am saying that I don’t think that I don’t a lot of self confidence because I had been insulting myself, and I was trying to kill myself. I thought myself was ugly but many people said that I was pretty. I have real bad attitudes; I don’t have my attitudes on anybody. I only get an attitude on when I am mad or upset. Sometime I talk with an attitude.
I am friendly and shy. But with people that I know I am not shy too much, I am much shy with people that I don’t know. I don’t know why.
I love to listen music. I do not go a day without listening to music. I listen to both English and Spanish music. I love Chingy, Usher, Mase, Marques, Houston, Ciara, Britney Spears, B2K, 50 Cent, Outkast, Beyonce, Ashanti, Nas, and Sean Paul. Spanish singers are Lil Goodman, Raquel Messia, David and Abraham, Samuel and Giovanni.
My favorite colors are pink and purple. My favorite food is pizza. My favorite pet is a puppy.
Well that is only what I have to tell you about myself. I am a gold heart, and a princess. I can be trust on. |
