Burton not doing POTA sequel
I saw on the news today that Tim Burton said there is 'no way in hell' he's doing a sequel to POTA. Maybe Speilberg can direct the sequel

I've seen this report too, but I find it strange because I saw him on TV telling a reporter at the UK premiere that they had only used about 1/4 of the storyline he'd been given and there was lots left for the sequels and he would direct a sequel. Then, 2 days later, these stories come out.
Strange.

Maybe he notes that the fil has potential to extrapolate into a plethora of further films but chose tht he didnt want to put his own name on what would become a franchise which may or may not suceed to the level he desires...
