I haven't really seen this movie yet? Does it have a good "cliffhanger" at the end? Get it? Cliffhanger as in somebody who cliff hangs, but see, I meant cliffhanger as a metaphor which sorta means, like...Im not quite sure. Something that has to do with you being surprised or something.
This is an above-par action film, although i'll be the first to admit i'm not Stallones biggest fan or indeed a fan of the 'no-brainier' action genre this film is indeed an exception, (with the inclusion of Stallone's Assassins) although the cast pick of John Third Rock From The Sun Lithgow as the films preliminary bad guy may of not been the best of decisions, this gripe aside this was indeed a good film and one that i have had the pleasure of viewing many times, although anyone looking for plenty of juicy plot lines may not apply but anyone who wishes to watch a decent enough action film and in particular a decent Renny Harlin flick (Driven anyone...?) this is a must, pity the DVD couldn't have been meatier in the avenue of extras.

Lithgow was good but the voice was just...well it sounded cartoonish
Anyways I got the movie on blu-ray a while back and still love it to this day, can't remember how I found out about it, Ace Ventura might have been how I came across it
I haven't seen this in ages and have been wanting to as well. It's a really good action movie that relies more on the environment than just the usual 'hero with a gun' scenario. Stallone and Rooker are really good as the feuding friends but the Jesse character doesn't fit into the story well. Lithgow played his part and maybe was a bit too smarmy/slimy but he had some great lines and he delivered them well. He was an obvious Hans Gruber clone but he still convinced and you could say he was a more active character than Gruber.
My favourite part is [SPOILER - highlight to read]: when Gabe and a terrorist are sliding down the slope and he rips most of his face off by pushing his head into the ice. Then the terrorist goes for a dive and Hal remarks: 'Gravity's a b***h, ain't it?' It has loads of cool action like that, which the TV censors sometimes cut out, the b*****ds.
