rank the films

So what is the best and what is the worst? put the films in rank order.

This is the rank order I would put them in, its hard to choose between the first 3, but here goes:

1 The Empire Strikes Back
2 Star wars (I still call it that, old skool) or should I say A New Hope
3 Return of the Jedi

There is such a big gap here

4 Attack of the Clones

Another big gap, not as big as the last one though

5 The Phantom shister

Where will episode 3 sit??

I'd personally put "A New Hope" first in my list, but otherwise - I agree with your choices!

Optimistically, I would like Ep.3 to be no.3 in my list. The realist in me says it will be no. 4 ...

I'd have to put Return of the Jedi first, then A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Attack of the Clones, then waaaaayyyyy down at the bottom would be Phantom Menace

Does anyone actually like TPM??, I tell you something, Lucas should go back and do a special edition of it and take jar jar out of every scene. It would still be the worst let down ever but it wouldn't be as anoying.

It just never happened in the originals, R2 and 3P0 are the comic relief and they are cool!

TPM did to star wars fans as red dwarf 7 did to red dwarf fans!

2 - Attack of the Clones
3 - Empire strikes back
4 - The Phantom Menace
5 - A New Hope

I'm guessing Revenge of the Sith is going to replace Return of the Jedi or Attack of the Clones smokin' smokin'

1 - ROTJ

3 - ANH
.....
10 - AOTC
.............

50- TPM ( I still can´t understand what was in George Lucas mind ,
a movie with jedis, light sabers, spaceships , several panets , couldn´t be so bad )

Someone answer please:

There´s one thing that bores me at ESB: how long has Yoda trained Luke? Only during the period between the scape from Roth and the arriving at the City of the Clouds. How long did that last? Probably something between one day and one week ? Wasn´t the training toooooooo short?
