THANOS versus ONSLAUGHT

I'll leave you pro's with another one from left field.

THANOS versus ONSLAUGHT!

I was going to suggest the idea of THANOS versus APOCOLYPSE but APOC seems a planetry version of the universal THANOS - no?

Hmm...this really depends on the version on Onslaught.

Thanos vs. Onslaught (Magneto and Xavier) - Thanos wins
Thanos vs. Onslaught (Magneto, Xavier, Nate) - Thanos wins
Thanos vs. Onslaught (Magneto, Xavier, Nate, Richards) - Thanos LOSES BADLY.

Well, after Hulk smashes Onslaught's armor, Onslaught becomes pure psionic super godly power that no one can attack anymore. So all the non-mutant heroes (and some mutants...don't ask) jump into Onslaught and absorb him or something. They end up in a pocket universe inside Franklin's soccer ball for a year while Jim Lee and Rob Liefield write stories about them, Onslaught ceases to exist and the X-men go home very confused. Like most readers.

I'm afraid there is no further clarification for this.

THANOS would have to be the superior here. While ONSLAUGHT is a bad MF too. I just don't think he's got enough.

I think Onslaught takes this, Franklin Richards powers aren't even that necessary I think. Long before he absorbed his powers, he was already extremely powerful.

And how strong is Thanos against the überpowerful telepathic attacks of Onslaught ?

Thanos can win, but with preptime. In a random fight, he goes down. Would be a cool fight though.

Onslaught in his final form (god that sounded Dragon Ball Z like) would own Thanos.

I was gonna say that, but didn't bother since no one went to the other one anyway, and this one already had a few posts before I got to it.

Juggernaut's gem isn't in his body. How Onslaught ripped out something that was suppose to be there is a mystery.

There are a great many things that happened during the Onslaught Saga that are a mystery.

Um, are you trying to somehow equate Juggy to Thanos? I think you are...and you are wrong. Thanos could smack him around as well.

On the subject of this thread, Thanos would only defeat Onslaught in his earliest form. He got stronger and stronger as time went on. By the end he was just starting to control Franklin's power...that's something that even Thanos wouldn't be able to counter. I'd put Onslaught at a level between Thanos and Galactus.

A friend of mine and I worked it out. Mindless Hulk did nothing to Onslaught. He only hit him hard enough to open a pocket dimension where Batman lives just long enough for him to kick Onslaught once.

The very same kick that knocked the wind out of Hulk in the crossover.

Onslaught also opened that pocket dimension to use a kick to put the gem into Juggernaut, when nobody was looking, and then pull it back out with another kick.

Edit: wrong quote
