X-Team with Gladiator VS. Surtur & Ymir
Those crazy mutants are back, and their cruising for a bruising! My past threads had the X-Team taking on Thanos, Doomsday, and all of Mordor. Can the X-Team take on their greatest challenge to date on these forums, Surtur and Ymir!
Scenario: Surtur and Ymir have wiped all other super hero teams off the face of the earth! Only the mutants and some of their old foes are alive! Can they save the rest of earth from the 2 of Asgards most powerful foes? The X-men have had a couple weeks of prep. Can the underdogs take it?

This isn't even fare for the X-team, just one of them could take them all down. It's basically Cable Vs Ymir and Surtur.

Well, the only real threats left alive are Merlin, Magik, Juggernaut and Capt. Britain in this scenario. Everyone else is either dead or fleeing, and these are the only ones with mystical abilities. Ymir would have trouble with fire wielding mutants like Sunfire and Havok (well, plasma wielding), but it's nothing he hasn't dealt with. Question is can Excalibur and or Archangel's magic sword effect them, and whether Merlin is more powerful than Odin in mystical combat?
If the answer to either of those questions is no, Marvel Earth is going to be hosting Ragnarok.
And Apocalypse will be somewhere in a cave sipping a martini watching re-runs of Chappelle's Show.

I love getting the X-Team into almost unwinnable situations. if that even is a word. But, I like to root for the underdog. Go X-Team.
