The "newly remastered" OT soundtracks
I read the entire thread about the re-release of the original trilogy soundtracks last fall. Someone asked if there was any difference, and most of the discussion was about the changes to the DVDs.
Specific to the CDs, one said the difference would be in my wallet (ha ha). There was a couple comments about how bad the recording quality of the original master was and how something still didn't sound better.
I have the special edition soundtracks. Looking at the track listings in the store, it doesn't seem that there are any additional tracks.
My question is: Is there any noticeable improvement (over the 97 versions) to the overall sound quality? Or should I really just save the money and not buy them?
