glads can't do anything to the general saev MAYBE bfr. his speedblitz wasn't enough to get rid of hulk though so the general would likely be able to stop it before it got too far as well.

all glads has is bfr. he can't win this fight in anyway, but if general grabs him he sure as hell will lose it.

Superman's burned off the General's arm with his heat vision before. Gladiator wouldn't stop until he killed him. So barring plot device, Gladiator should win.

True. But it grows back instantly. And the Shaggy Man's unique ability is to be immune to whatever hurts him or defeats him. Which is why Green Lantern couldn't beat Shaggy Man the second time despite his immense power. He was Doomsday before there was a Doomsday.

Best bet is ring removal. Throw him into a sun or something.
