I saw Blair Witch when it first came out, and we all thought that it was real. So it scared the hell out of us. One of the girls that we went with got REALLY scared. So that night, some of us snuck over to her house and put a pile of rocks on her doorstep.

Most horror movies are funny. They try to be scary, and they are just plain stupid.
The Blair Witch Project, The Excorsist, The Texas Chainsaw Masacre; these movies are good because they are simply disturbing.
What makes the Blair Witch Project so good, was that it didn't show you what was out in the woods. To me, my imagination is far scarier than a holywood creation.

The first two Chucky movies. I was a kid when I saw them and seeing as how he was a doll, it scared the crap out of me.
