this might sound stuipd to the rest of you but i just couldnt think of any better idea for a good movie like high tension i just think it diserves to have a sequal. so marie killed all those people cause she got split personality but of course we know split personality is usually created in someone due to a tramatic event the sequal could go like this
as she's in the mental hospital we see as they ask her about her early life she talks about her dad a worker who we find out is her split personality, he spoiled marie all her life, but he was unhappy cause maries mother was a total witch, anyway maries dad starts hateing women they are the impetimy of his problems since the wife is a ***** and chicks say things about him (why i dont know you could think of something later maybe cause the mom and him only got married cause of marie being concieved thus the chicks in town say ugly shit about him how she is so unlucky to have such a fat pig for a husband) anyway he eventually snaps and kills his annoying ***** of a wife, he hides her and tells marie that she went on a trip suddenly a rash of other disapearences happen entires familes being murdered by someone really violent, just some really violent deaths via high tension eventually marie finds out about what her dad's been doing via freddy kruger part five, though not that way exactly, but yeah sorta like that in that she finds his little playpen of mutilated and horribly tortured women, maybe even one still alive tied to the chair with barb wire, she'd hide and he'd come in talking about how this chick is a stuipd ***** and **** and she could never loev a pig like him could she and she'd probably beg to be let go and he'd say something like ok tell me you love me and then she'd be like i love you via high tension she'd get a kiss then her throat slit.
what you talking about im just giving an idea, im not a director or producer, and why the other guy saying its a bad idea if he never even liked the movie, if you all have better idea for a would be sequal then id loveeeeeeee to hear them

i mean man it tells you everything, Good movies dont deserve to be ruined by a cheap ass writter, because most of the time thats what happened sekuels are written by different persons of the original movie
and they loose track of the whole idea, look what happened to butterfly effect,

now, since Butterfly Effect 2 , i am afraid to go watch a sequel, of a
good movie
i thought the first was garbage. i didnt like the whole "this is real" thing they were trying to portray, didnt quite sit well with me. the second one, if it were a film on its own or if it was supposed to be the first one. it was much better.
id rather have crappy acting and shitty story, than crappy acting and shitty story being passed off as real
what i'd like to know is, at the start when they get to the girls house and meet her family, was the fat guy just seeing this in his head, or did the girl bring home the fat guy????
i think he was just seeing it in his head... but i could be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time.
