Is this Xanatos, weaker than a kid Obi and Qui-Gon? He'd lose in a second. Or maybe 2 because he is smart. Just very, very weak.

No, this is Xanatos as a young man, about Anakin's age in AotC.

Specifically Xanatos as in Day of Reckoning. The last book he was in.

Well, Xanatos when he died was almost as good as Qui-Gon (in the Captive Temple he and Qui-Gon dueled for quite a while, and Xanatos got rid of Qui-Gon when he told him about the bomb). Accodring to most people around here, AOTC Obi-Wan is nearly as good as Qui-Gon, but not as good. And I'm pretty sure we can all agree that AOTC Anakin is not as good as AOTC Obi-Wan

I cant, Anakin was already better then Obi-Wan in terms of skill in AOTC. He lasted longer against Dooku, and Dooku wasn't mocking him during their duel either, he actually looked quite focused.

Anakin is more skilled then Obi-Wan will ever be, even in AOTC, the thing is Anakin is impulsive and stupid, where Obi-Wan is smart and controlled. Which severely demeans Anakins skill because he is rash and just ends up getting owned because he overestimates his own abilities. He thinks too highly of himself.

Like you said, he's impulsive. He attacked Dooku with two lightsabers quite furiously. Obi-Wan was much more controlled, which probably gave Anakin the edge in a fight against Dooku, who's style is more for fighting controlled fighters, not freakishly wild ones like Anakin.
