2)And if you think that was a 1 time occurrence, a weakened Blackheart was vaporized by Mephisto, but Blackheart instantly reformed on the scene with no ill effects whatsoever.

Soul absorption and manipulation
1)Blackheart mentioned that if he kills a person, their souls are automatically his for the taking.
2)Blackheart even displayed the ability to forcibly take souls through the misdeeds done by his targets(ex.Killing the innocents and etc).He even turned people into demons.
3)Blackheart even gave Selene a device capable of taking a person's soul.Again the person is turned into a demon.
4)Blackheart caused an explosion in New York Harbor without even being there.The explosion was later revealed by Margali to be a Magical Soul Destroying Virus.
