I'd say he's toast. Spidey doesn't carry a thermonuclear device in his pants...
Of course thats if you don't include what Mary Jane has to say...

Good question. What sort of arena is this? If Spiderman can figure out exactly what a T-1000's weaknesses are, then he may be able to lure him into something in a city-scape.
If it's a standard, neutral arena? I'd say Spiderman's going down. Brute force isn't any sort of threat to a T-1000.

There's no doubt that Spiderman has the ability to avoid the T-1000's attacks, and the brains to figure out how to handle him. It's just a question of whether or not he gets stuck with a crappy terrain with nothing for him to use.

If he's in the "danger room" even if its off... suddenly... everythings on...
And if spidey's wearing that nanotech stuff... T-1000's shown she can hack into anything just by being near it...
Spidey's screwed unless he drops down to his skivvies.

woopsie... hahhaha... hrm... i skipped straight to...
nevermind... well t-1000 in any case... spidey has no real way of damaging him... in any sense that'll put him away...
arnold blow the guy up, froze him, and knocked him around... spidey.. if he gets tagged by the liquid metal stabbers is dead...
I'm not sure t-1000 can hit spidey... I'm sure however spidey without help isn't putting t-1000 away

I'm not sure of a Termintors strength level off the top of my head, but it's pretty damn high. Especially the T-1000. He toyed with Arnie like Arnie was a joke. I do know, however, that if Spiderman tries to punch him, the T-1000 can do as he did in the film when Arnie punched him. Just grab a hold of Spidey's arm, and then repeatedly stab poor Parker at his leisure.
which is why exactly i said t-1000 has a chance... while spidey has none
t-1000 1/10
spidey 0/10

Touche. The thread-starter did not specify an arena. I suppose I was considering it would be a neutral city-scape or something like that.
But, you're right. If they're in a Roman collesuem-esque arena, then yea. The best Spidey could hope for is a stalemate.
Hm...wait a second. When he wants to, can't Spidey make his webbing water-proof/air-tight? I'm sure I've seen him perform this feat before. If this is true, then Spidey could potentially web him up entirely, incapacitating him.

There's no rule for it, but I guess a neutral ground for two characters who spend all/most of their time in a city would be a city. It'd be weird demanding a refinery be present though.
I don't think a refinery would be a plot device though. A truckload of liquid nitrogen just happening to be in the road would probably fit the bill.

and he could cut right through... strength to puncture through steel... you think webbing is stopping him?

I think a truckload of liquid nitrogen just HAPPENING to crash into him and lead him RIGHT into a refinery is a bit of PIS.
Still, there isn't a way that Spidey is beating the Terminator without luring him into molten steel. Even freezing him just slows him down till he melts - as seen.
Actually...? Yes. Spidey's webbing is stronger than some steel. Plus, I've never seen any evidence to say that the T-1000 has any high form of superhuman strength. AT THE MOST, I'd put him at 1 ton.
I'd put the T-800 at a couple tons, and the T-1000 around at least twice that.
Also, the T-1000 can SLICE the webbing - it has shown to be able to be cut before. Well within his abilities, considering he can determine the sharpness of his blades down to the nano level.
