Old FanFic
Today I was going through my old files on my computer, and I found an old fanfic I must've started writing forever ago after DMC came out. I'd totally forgot about it. I didn't get very far, but I figured I'd post it on here and ask if you guys thought I should continue or not So yeah...here it is
The sky overhead seemed tortured by the prospect of the coming storm, few water droplets escaping the gray mass above, collecting in the china cups set out on the table. As the gale steadily poured harder and harder, it spilled over into the saucer, from there dripping down onto her dress, ruining the silk and lace.
Elizabeth Swann reaches up to brush her hair out of her eyes, blinking through the rain. Even though her second attempt at a wedding day is ruined, and her make-up is running, creating black marks on her cheeks, she can’t help but smile. She folds her hands in her lap and looks down at them. They seem delicate...breakable, but more apt to break.
She thinks back to her childhood days, all the hearts she’d broken with harsh words or a simple glare. It was so easy back then, waving away their cares with out a second thought. She couldn’t believe how much harder it had gotten over time, developing a conscience. First Norrington and now Will. She just didn’t know if she had the heart for it anymore.
But as she looked over the banister out to the choppy sea, mirroring the struggle in her heart, she knew the truth. She missed him.
It had been little more than a month since she had last seen Captain Jack Sparrow, and since not a day had passed since that she didn’t think of him. His last words to her echoed constantly in her mind.
“Wait for me,” he’d said, “And before you know it you’ll be seeing black sails on that horizon.” Then he was gone, and she hadn’t heard from him since. This weeks rumors said that he was back in Tortuga, meaning he was headed this way. But she couldn’t keep waiting, and Will had started getting suspicious. But Will...no, he would never suspect her of all people. He would never think she was the one to pull the trigger of the smoking musket they’d never find. They would search for a while, and finally give up, leaving hers as one of the many unsolved crimes committed in Port Royal.
She steps up onto the ledge, ignoring the frantic thump of her heart, the ache of knowing she’s never going to see him again. She holds the musket to the side of her head, taking deep, calming breathes, trying to clear her mind. She closes her eyes, and holds her breathe. When she finally calms down enough, she opens her eyes to get one last look at the sea. Shocked at what she sees, she drops the gun. It falls toward the water, crashing against the rocks before plunging into the sea.
I know I didn't get very far at all...lool
Just wondering what you guys thought of the beginning, so please comment on it

It's not much at all, but here's what I've got so far It's been a while since I've worked on it, so I'm not sure where I was planning on taking it...
In the distance, a ship was sailing closer and closer, fighting its way through the choppy water. As it approaches, Elizabeth sees the black sails it seems she’s been waiting an eternity for.
“Jack,” she whispers to herself, bittersweet tears running down her face, smearing her make-up more. Turning on the cold and slippery wet pavement, she nearly falls in her haste to get down to the docks. Her corset makes it hard for her to move, her life restricted by the boundaries of society once again.
She runs through the abandoned streets, breathing getting shallower and shallower, but she won’t stop. Her heart begins to pound in her head, her side throbbing, she’s barely conscience. Finally, it’s too much. She falls to her knees, her already drenched dress now stained by the mud. Gasping for air, her world collapses into darkness.

ok, i know this has nothing to do with my fanfic, but i figured i'd post it here anyways...lol
today my friend told me to write a poem for her, so I did, and now that I'm reading it over, it sounds very j/l-y, so i thought y not, i'll put it up herelol
Her whispers through the night
confirms the feelings she denies.
Forbidden hopes for the future
crushed by his lies.
As the tears stream down her face;
the angel hidden in disguise.
Classic good girl gone bad to change him,
the lust toys with her virgin mind.
And though she left him there,
stranded, sure to die.
It’s hard not to wish for
the freedom she thought she’d find.
But she still feeds a secret longing,
of the lifestyle she should despise.
She realizes she’d do anything
if just to taste his love one last time.
