And when it comes to bonding, is like any other family, close knit!
To begin with, the biggest showman the film industry has ever seen, was Raj Kapoor! It's true when they say, such great men are born once! This legend will always be remembered by his refined acomplishments, both as an actor as well as a director.Nevertheless, his presence is surely felt in the talent that he passed on to the next generation. Had Raj Kapoor been here today, he would surely have been the proudest grandpa. For, after him, it was Karisma who brought home the National Award to the family! when Karisma entered the film industry, the entire nation's eyes were set on this kapoor girl, who decided to carry on the family name in films.
The Himalayan task that was on thosetender,teenage shoulders, was finally lifted when she won the prestigious National Award for her performance in Dil To Pagal Hai, making her family proud! No body can deny karisma's passion for films.it's in genes! And one wouldn't be surprised if the biggest chunk of her inspiration came from her Dadaji, whom she misses alot. she mentioned some where, that she gives her work her one 100 percent, just like her Dadaji, Raj Kapoor, used to. She also wished that he was around to share the excitement and ecstasy with her. She admired Raj Kapoor not only as afilm maker but also as an actor, whose creativity knew no bounds. She feels she has done her Dadaji proud
Well if Rajji is not here, her father Randhir Kapoor,is certainly compensating by sharing every moment of her happiness. He defends both Karisma and Kareena's decision to join films, He says, As for karisma joining films, my dad wad aware of this and even encuraged her for it. My blessings with my children. And ifeel Kareena will be a bomb of the indian film industry. Not that Karisma is any less but kareena is more bubbly, more fiery She's effervescent! There is an absolute misconception that kapoor girls were never allowed to join films. I hate my father being painted as the vilain. he was the most non-interfering man Ihave ever known.
