i read in a thread that Daredevil has beaten Spidey
is this correct ?
and how were the circumstances in this fight ?

Probably in the Sin Eater storyline, which I haven't read yet. Sounds pretty out of character though, as not too long later DD tried pretty hard and still didn't stand a chance. And I think that would hold true now.
