Superman prime vs World War Hulk strongest?

Just got confirmation, apparently future storylines for a variety superman titles has been leaked, most noteably the chronciles of superman prime to be written by grant morrison and pencilled by Val Semeiks.

Its set less than ten years in the future in which the Man of Steel is finding a number of drastic changes occuring in his life. Vast Power surges coming at random times as his abilities soar off the charts (to unprecendented levels), whilst all his vulnerablities begin to decrease including his susceptibility to magic. He has no idea as to why and he has difficulty keeping his powers in check...........

MAJOR SPOILER

Similar to the Jet Li blockbuster 'The One', a Superman from an alternate reality (Ultraman) has been murdering all the supermen from alternate earths, thus there life force being split between the remaining survivors. Having just killed Kal-L of Earth one, only one superman remains, Kal-EL of earthg 2 our future superman prime. Forever pursued by the Lantern Corps of his universe this evil Superman will stop at nothing until his he truely is..... the last kryptonian, to turely become a God.

I moved your thread to the general comics forum. No need to post the same thing (though I see you stuck in a battle so that I wouldn't move it or close it again).

I agree that the superman prime thing should be very interesting. But the fight is not very good.

In regards to his upcoming Superman project, grant morrison has said the story has been inspired by Jet Li's 'The One' in which the story open with the Green Lantern Corps responding to the apparent breach of the quantum containment field that holds superboy prime. Upon arrival they find not only all 50 green lanterns slain but the corpse of superboy prime himself....

I'm hyped about the chronicles, my source says its going to epic and i hope to post more soon.

I have not heard about this, but it does bring up an interesting premise.

More importantly, it should finally provide a deeper range of feats for Superman Prime (and, hopefully, make it so obvious that people stop putting him up against characters that would have difficulty with far less powerful characters. Remember that in JLA 1M it was alluded to the Prime was 'beyond power,' and was the most powerful meta to ever exist. And this was beyond he spent all that time inside the sun).

Anyways, it is always good when a (rather obtuse) character like Superman Prime gets expounded upon. And having a range of feats should finally (hopefully) keep people from posting a lot on Superman Prime, who, like other truly uber characters, really do not add much to debate .....they can crush virtually any lesser character, making debate unnecessary ....and they are not potent enough to go against TRUE power, which is the other problem with Prime threads. People either put him against (relative) weaklings like the Hulk (goodness, that would be like throwing a cricket in front of a Locomotive), or they decide to go to the other extreme and put him against people like the Spectre (non-jobbing, implying that this is basically 'god').

Anyways, thanks for the info.

As for the thread ....well .....I did mention about crickets in front of trains ......

Lets just hope Morrison remembers what was stated in JLA 1 million about prime.

heard that primes power surge begins with a battle with Captain Marvel. its seem the famous magic 'shazam' lightning barely fazes him as he smashes captain marvel into submission.

dunno about you guys but i think this sucks! superman with no weaknesses is boring. there's a reason burne revamped superman, ppl forget that. ultraman vs superman red son would be cool tho
