Honestly, outside of the Jungle Kar will get killed by a Slayer. In the Jungle though is a different story. The problem is Kar is so deeply entrenched in the Force that not being able to sense or use Force powers against his opponent could seriously throw him off, being outside the Jungle makes it worse. Also, Slayers are physically uber powerhouses, Kar is also extremely strong though. I dunno, I think being outside the Jungle and not being able to sense and feel the Slayer (which Kar relies on heavily) would lead to his defeat.

I still can see Kar taking this. He was a rival for Mace in the forest and can't be that much weaker here. The fact that Jacen took seven on makes me think that he should be able to take one.
