Hypothetically, could, say Darkseid, Lex Luthor or even Dr Doom (individually) have obtained the complete set of Infinity gems from their original guardians? Are they smart or cunning enough?

Well i think it would be a bit hard for Darkseid or Lex Luther coz there in different universes. And i doubt Dr.Doom could have.

Darkseid could actually beat a handful of them, so he should be able to get a couple. If he went for the in-betweener and runner last he could make it.
