I havez teh English translation of it:
I like glittering things and pretty things
As much as before
But being cool and being tough
Have become more important lately
You see? Times have changed so much
But why do I still hear such words as
"Tears are women's weapons"?
We don't cry easily
We are not always coquettish
We are not dolls
Who are only dressed-up
We have our weak sides
We are not always smiling
Don't forget
That we don't exist to be convenient for you
Though it's certain
I have a pain in my chest on some nights
It might be true
The more one experiences sufferings
The more he can be tender and strong

"Ami Suzuki (鈴木 亜美 Suzuki Ami, born February 9, 1982) is a female singer and songwriter from Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Suzuki was one of the most popular female singers between 1998 and 2000 and the known rival of Ayumi Hamasaki, but in 2000 after legal problems with her management company, she was dropped from her label and fell from popularity"
"Namie Amuro (安室 奈美恵, Amuro Namie?, born September 20, 1977) is a Japanese pop singer of Ryukyuan ancestry. In the Japanese press she was referred to as the "Queen of J-pop" before Ayumi Hamasaki eclipsed her popularity in the mainstream pop scene."
Ayumi Hamasaki is so cool

Sorry, as I told you before, she is not the "Best Selling Female & Solo Japanese Artist in history."
What she is is "The top selling solo and female artist and the fourth top selling Japanese artist in the history of Japan."
Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Who are the first three?
Also "in history" and "in the history of Japan" are to be treated equally when talking about Japanese people.

I don't know who any of these Japanese chicks are. The only one I've heard of is Piana. Anybody familiar with her?

TOKYO — Pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki and Hello Kitty, the popular Japanese feline character, have joined hands to create a new character set to hit Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Shanghai shortly, companies that created the new character said Friday.
The new character — a young girl who resembles the Japanese singer holding Hello Kitty in her arm — will be made into a 33 millimeter by 49 mm figure with a price tag of 600 yen as well as a mirror for sale at 2,200 yen, Avex Group Holdings Inc and Sanrio Co said. "I'm so happy that I could collaborate with Kitty, which I have loved since I was little," the singer said in a statement, describing the feline character as "a fabulous being that is loved by many women regardless their age and nationality."

I can't find out anywhere it seems. On every page I look at is just:
(please log in to view the image)
Ayumi Hamasaki, Japan's top-selling female artist, appears on the cover of one of her albums, Secret.
