homer simpson vs peter griffin

Both appeared in movies as peter was in the stewie griffin movie and homer was in the recent simpsons movie.
Both are incredibly stupid but who of the two is better in a fight? who is smarter? and who has more cleverness?

thier fights are as follows

1) fight
2) IQ contest
3) Joning competition

In a fight, Peter dominates, just look at his fights with Ernie the Giant Chicken.

I would say Homer is a little smarter than Peter.

Wtf is a Joning Competition?

I'm assuming we can use evidence from the shows here?

Well, Homer can take punches to no end and finish off Peter once he gets tired (which wouldn't take long)

The IQ contest - I honestly don't know.

As for the joning competition, Homer clearly takes it, because Simpsons is the better cartoon and I don't know what joning is.

Correct, it has been shown that Homer's body is capable of shrugging off massive punishment.

In one episode, the doctor states, 'Homer has extra cushioning around his brain, so he would be able to sustain blows for a 2x4 (wood) all day'. There's also the episode where Homer becomes the human cannonball, not being blown out of a cannon, but taking cannon ball shots to the stomach repeatedly.

IQ: Homer is stupid, but Peter is clinically retarded, I believe the episode "Petarded" stated this.

Don't know what "joning" is. Did you mean this?

And you assume that because he's fat, right?

Nah, it's in an episode. Remember the one where he starts boxing and ends up fighting Frederick Tatum?

Oh right, Homer would win that then, given that fact that any wit used in Family Guy is a singular joke and never inherent to any kind of plot.

"Remember that time I had a joning competition with Homer Simpson?"...

1) Peter
2) Homer
3) Hard to say, their humor often comes from the extreme lack of being witty. I'd say Peter, cause his humor is more extreme and insulting.

Also, I actually prefer Family Guy to the Simpsons. Simpsons are great though.

Im voting for homer simpson. He has the better stamina out of the two. He was able to carry the same material and make it seem funny far longer than Peter did.

Homer, he has less to live for.

Actually, Bardock slaps them around like two dollar crack Ho's, steals Homer's donuts and shares them with ME. yes

The Simpsons is funny. Family Guy is boring, repetitive, and cheap.

So Simpsons wins.

1) Homer, he can go on and on

2) Homer, his inner workings are thought to be cosmic. Remember the couch gag where they zoomed outward toward the galaxy and into deep space and finished in Homer's head and he simply states: "comsic"

Or when Marge accuses Homer of lying and he says: "I wasn't lying, I was writing fiction with my mouth!"

Yeah, that's quite the thought process.

3) Homer again, the ending of the episode where him and Ned marry the Vegas cocktail waitresses. they're walking home and he tells Ned what they're going to tell their wives and while explaining it, also insults Ned by saying he's a "jackass" and aliens took turns gang probing him.

What in the world has Peter taken that can top Homer in a fight?

Homer held his own pretty damn well against Bart's big brother. I think he would win all three contests.

A 10 minute (on screen) fight with a psycho Chicken.

I remember that one, but the brain cushioning and cannon ball feats would top that in terms of ability to take punishment.

Not sure, didn't Peter fall out of a skyscraper? And he can certainly dish out more. But Homer's Brain does give him an advantage, though Peter's Stamina is quite strong (also he can compete with professional football players, quite a feat).

It all is pointless though, because Peter is, actually, the Hulk. And therefore would rape Homer.

Not sure about the skyscraper, if so, then that would be a ringer for Peter.

Good point, it that is allowed, then yes.

I don't think it should count. Just thought it was a funny idea.

Either way, I am not sure about it cause both can obviously take some punishment (remember Homer's Skateboard Jump).

Would be interesting, I just gave it to Peter cause I felt he is fitter and can deal more.
