Hobgoblin realizes that preparing to fight Thor with or without the Mjolnir is suicide so he uses his thirty minutes to buy Thor a nice gift instead, like an action figure of Thor and some pie.

Hobgoblin has his standard equipment, right?
The prep gives him time to amp himself up with more weapons and traps.

Hobgoblin wins.

What's so funny?

Since Thor doesn't have his Mjolnir, he can't fly and No Godblasts.
Hobgoblin has his glider, giving him the aerial advantage.
And with the prep time, he could gather enough resources to at least KO Thor.

Thor can still call down lightning without his hammer if I am not mistaken.

With 30 minutes prep?? Whats he gonna do? Summon a highly powered armoured suit, Iron Man style?
With Thor's stength and durability he can take whatever Hobby throws at him. Thor could easily throw something large and heavy at Hobgoblin which, even if it misses, would distract him. This would enable Thor to leap at Hobby

Once Thor gets his hands on him, Hobby is toast Happy Dance

A most unlikely scenario.

IF he can get his hands on him..
All Hobby has to do is fly 3000 ft above the ground and rain bombs at Thor.
He gets a quick BFR, or KOs Thor cold

laughing laughing laughing

Thor not only can take nukes with no damage, he can hang out in the middle of the sun for fun. COBALT bombs can't hurt thor. You think pumpkin bombs are going to do the trick?

And Thor doesn't HAVE to fly. He could obliterate/decapitate hobgoblin by throwing a brick at lightspeed. Hobgoblin is nowhere NEAR fast enough to dodge projectiles thrown by thor.

Oh, and there's that whole "calling down lightning" thing that would probably work, too.

This match is laughable.

Thor rapes Hobgoblin's self-esteem.

Why is the 'creating a diversion and leaping at Hobby' most unlikely.? Thor is high class 100 strength, and like most people, the strongest part of his body is his legs. He may not have the leaping power of the Hulk, but I bet he could jump incredibly long distances. Classic Spiderman, who is class 10 strength, can jump between 3-5 stories, and attributes his leaping ability to his super strength. So it stands to reason that Thor, lacking Mjolner, will use this attack.
As I said before, Hobgoblin is toast-he is way out of his league

LOLZ, doesn't matter what goblin do, Thor won't get hurt by spiderman level villians. Sooner or later that flyer machine is gonna run out of gas* but you do have good senarios... laughing
