X-men fan soundtrack

Sure the orchastrated music for the X-men 1 + 2 soundtrack touched our hearts but who had ideas for songs for certain moments?...anyone want to share?...

All I can say is that 'F*** the system' by System of a Down would fit in the movie, during any Wolverine fighting scene...

or that song...'everybody hurts'...I forgot the title and artist so don't get mad, that song would be good during the time when Jean supposedly died.

I just wanna hear lots of good fight music and angsty music. And I guess some to go with those love scenes.

I'm basing these scenes on what I wanna see in X3. Fight for the obivious fighting they'll have. Angsty cause Jean's dead, and Scott will feel like crap. And love cause Gambit better darn well be in it!!!!!!!

I really think #6 'Easier To Run' by Linkin Park is a good one if they have Rogue touch Gambit and she finds out his secret. The song is his point of view

'It's easier to run
replacing this pain with somwthing numb
its so much easier to go
than face all this pain here all alone

something has been taken
from deep inside of me
a secret i've kept locked away
no one can ever see
wounds so deep they never show
they never go away
like moving pictures in my head
for years and years they've played

if i could change i would
take back the pain i would
retrace every wrong move i made i would
if i could stand up and take the blame i would
if i could take all the shame to the grave
i would'

That's only one part of the song, but I think it really suits him, no?

I would also like to hear music from Evanescene on the X-Men soundtrack.

'Bring Me To Life' could be used for Rogue. Think about it, it has to feel like she is dreaming at times, cause of the voices in her head.

Sorry I hade to post twice, ran out of room

Yeah Evanessence would be perfect. Also...some songs for Wolverine...

Nobody's Listening // Linkin Park
Papercut // Linkin Park
Faint // Linkin Park
Crawling // Linkin Park
Hit the floor // Linkin Park
Rearranged // Limp Bizkit

Basically any linkin park song works...:P

The X-men (not X2)soundtrack was absolutely wonderful to me. I wouldn't change it one bit.
I think for X2 they should have kept the same composer... but why do you want to change the musical mainframe into Rock & guitar tones ?

i was thinking maybe Linkin Park's Papercut could play during the scenes where Jean was struggling to control the Phoenix side of her. for during the three major battles at Alkali, i'd like to hear Aimee Allen's I'd Start A Revolution, used to be the theme song to the wb's cancelled Birds of Prey. good song.

someother good songs to add: it's my life - bon jovi, when i'm gone - 3 doors down, back to life - evanescense, and inivisble man - theory of a dead man. i

've always liked the theme songs to batman beyond and angel. those could be played during dark scenes of when great evil and death is to come. fuel's "bad day" seems like a good theme song for rogue. hmm....i'm not quite happy with the current x2 soundtrack. i was hoping it'd feature that cool song i liked from an earlier movie trailers.

Yes, to whoever said that X-men the curerent OST was better overall, I agree and infact I love the tracks...Cerebro and Logan and Rogue...I'm this close to buying the cd...

Yeah papercut would have been perfect for describing Jean at Alkali.

Don't get me started on Birds of Prey, I loved that show! Ugh...and they kept crap shows like the Jamie Kenedy experiment going? Ugh! sick

...huh Let's take it back to old school.

- 'Fool on the Hill' by the Beatles can describe Logan
- 'Kasmier' by Led Zeppelin can be the theme
- 'Black Dog' by Led Zeppelin can describe Logan
- 'Pretty Fly for a White guy' by Offspring can describe Cyclops.

laughing out loud
