Sentry is seriously a non-factor even Aurora's light would play games with his mind, or the various others who have telepathy and can cast illusions

Why is it that 99.99.99% of all characters in the DCU and the MU are second or third-stringers? Those two companies need to get together and have a MEGA crossover where almost everyone is permanently killed except for the characters who are at least fairly well-known to the average geek.
