The Predator is hunting human prey in Maine, when the gov't accident occurs that releases the Mist(Stephen King's Movie) to spread through the area. The Predator senses something is wrong and immediately stops hunting the human to concentrate on his sense of evil nearby.
Predator(AvP 2) finds himself in the middle of the town in the movie. He's a long way from escaping the Mist. Can he defeat or kill the evil creatures lurking in the Mist...or would he have to try to escape the area...and if he does attempt to flee...what are his chances of making it?
Well with his sensors and his own Infra-Red vision, he could easily see anything coming his way before it even knows he's there.
The acid spiders are easily taken care of, same with the flying thing.
Even the walkers with the pincers get taken down. The only thing that really gives him trouble are the bugs, and the huge thing with the tentacles that's bigger than a whale.
Yeah, I think the tentacle monster may have been the godzilla size creature at the end of the movie. It had tentacles coming out of its mouth when the camera moved up to get a shot at the size of the beast. I wonder if Predator did use his nuke..if it would kill that thing..lol
It was, it was the same monster that dropped those pterodactyl things too, they dropped off it like pods.
Nuke probably would kill it, but he'd have to wait till the thing tried to eat him, other wise he would injure it to the point it would probably go crazy from pain, but not kill it. This is what the thing looked like by the way.

I'm confused by those creatures. Are they aliens or are they actually demons? I saw the movie and know that a soldier said the creatures came from another dimension but still.
Neither, they're the indigenous life from the other dimension, which is supposedly a much rougher place to live. Basically, whatever locals they had would be awed if they saw Tigers and such.
The tentacle that first attacked the group in the loading area, where it ate the 'Sherminator', that tentacle is from one of those beast, basically one of its mouths.
Considering Jane was able to hack it [tentacle] with an axe, a Predator would slice, dice and blow holes through it with east. Taking it down, in time.
