5 favorite Anthony Hopkins roles apart from Hannibal Lecter?
Mine:
James Stevens - The Remains of the Day
Titus Andronicus - Titus
Richard Nixon - Nixon
Frederick Treves - The Elephant Man
Richard The Lionheart - Lion in Winter
Dr. Frederick Treves (The Elephant Man)
Col. William Ludlow (Legends of the Fall)
Abraham Van Helsing (Bram Stoker's Dracula)
Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (The Road to Wellville)
William Parrish (Meet Joe Black)
yeah same here.Havent seen too many of his films but the ones I have seen I would say NIXON where he played that bastard Dick Nixon is easliy my favorite film of his although that movie was too sympathetic towards him, didnt show what a true evil bastard he REALLY was.
the others I liked him are of course
The Elephant Man
The Lion In Winter
and Magic as well.
That's about it. I adore the guy and think he's very talented, but he is one of those actors that have mastered playing one character and have been type cast to play, just that character. Aside from a few standout performances, like, Magic, Elephant Man and Silence of the Lambs and remains of the day, it's hard to distinguish him from any of his other movies.

I think Mask of Zorro is the only other film I've seen him in and he had good chemistry with Banderas. I was tempted to watch Fracture but I didn't get round to it...
