Check out the books. They're decidedly unhipster-ish, and quite awesome.. Think Rumiko Takahashi harem type story, but with supporting characters who're pretty fantastic, and female protagonists that aren't only paper thin excuses for the hero getting into fights..

I discovered the series from regular comic loving geeks on another board.
Besides, imo it's more of a slacker culture thing then a hipster one..
