well champion did bust a planet by accident with a wayward punch.. but he is stupid as dirt although he really shouldnt be especially in combat oriented skills..
supes should when if he brings in his superspeed.. blitzes him to a ko..
The Champion "should" beat the hell out of Supes and every other herald level character every single time...especially with the combo of his power level combined with the fighting skill that he is "supposed" to possess.
But he is CONSISTENTLY written so badly that it makes me wonder how the hell is this guy even an Elder; just going by showings, you'd think that The Runner was a true Elder and The Champion was a phony...
Without PIS+CIS The Champoin should kick Superman's azz every single time...and rapidly too, but since this guy jobs constantly, I think Supes will knock him out...
Being an 'Elder' doesn't mean anything. If you remember Champion and the rest of his cronies called themselves 'Elders', the name doesn't mean anything outside of what the 'Elders' think of themselves.
Without powergems and the like Champion gets beat.
