Fate has spells to counter mind tricks. Starheart basically took it to the whole DC earth. That's how powerful Sentinel is now.

Dark Phoenix is also in this fight, and could/would kill most if not all of the JLA/JSA. If she can devour a star. Everyone outside of Dr. Fate would be one step away from a toe tag. Would you say that Fate could take Onslaught and Dark Phoenix by himself? This is pretty much what would/should eventually happen. I mean, think about it for a sec.

Sentinel back in the day was said to bust solar systems. He's much more powerful now.
