Annihilators. Three of the Annihilators, Surfer/Bill/Ronan, bring a wildly diverse set of powers to the fight (matter manip being the most important), Quasar can shut down any energy users and Gladiator is a well rounded brick (super strength, heat vision, invulnerability, flight/speed blitz)

How's their durability? Are they "glass cannons" aka human level durability but with excellent offensive magics or are they "tank mages" aka excellent durability and great mystic abilities (like Etrigan)?

Because if they tank mages, they take it.
