She passes through demonic barriers, which Inoue's most certainly isn't. Her meek personality would keep her from killing Kagome, but this doesn't seem like a death duel anyways, and Tsubaki would have more than enough power to knock Kagome out. She's got the powers of a priestess, specialized to deal with demons, not with spiritually charged humans like Orihime.

Kagome walked right through Kikyo's barrier and she is not a demon. Priestess' spiritual powers can be used on more than just killing demons so, get your facts straight. Anyways, stay on topic were not talking about Tsubaki but, she could lay Inoue out as well.
Calm down, there's no need for hostilities here. As for getting facts straight, Tsubaki is the avatar of Inoue's offensive capabilities, so I do know what I'm talking about on that point.
Why would Kikyo's barrier be an issue for Kagome? She's is Kikyo reincarnated, remember?
I never once said the priestess power of Kagome would be completely moot against Inoue, but it certainly won't be as effective as it would on a random demon.

Well throughout the series Kagome's main focus when using her spiritual abilities was to takeout demons but that doesn't necessarily mean her powers would dim against non-demonic opponents.
Earlier my point of saying Kagome can hit her target without having a clear view of it was to say Inoue's shield is pointless when Kagome has the ability to make the arrow disappear to reach the target.
Has there ever been an instance where she used her spiritual powers on an enemy that wasn't possessed/wielding demonic power/a full fledged demon? What is a priestess's role in InuYasha, mostly they serve as purifiers of demonic power, right? Purifying means cleansing the dark strength demons utilize. Inoue wouldn't be relying on any dark powers, her abilities are based on will and the strength of the spirit.
So Kagome can cloak her arrows to make them invisible? That is a pretty useful ability, but wouldn't Inoue see her nocking the bow? And her shield is not some flimsy little thing. She's been able to manifest it in a number of different sizes, though the general shape stayed the same. She could easily just make full body barrier in the direction Kagome is in.

I said disappear not make invisible, there's a difference. There have been many times a priestess has used their spiritual power for more than just purifying. Healing, breaking spells, restricting movements, deflecting attacks, and bringing down barriers are not all under purifying.
By the end of the manga, it was said that Kagome's abilities was held back a great deal by Magatsuhi, so I can base her abilities off of what Kikyo can do and even though it was unspecified, Kagome's powers probably extend beyond Kikyo's limits.
I said Inoue was too meek because her will keeps her shield up, so depending on the force behind Kagome's attack, Inoue's shield would end up shattering.
Beg your pardon but have you actually watched the series? Orihime is awesome.
Anyway Orihime wins this fight.
1) Her shield can block Kagome's arrows.
2) Her own ranged attack (Tsubaki) can't be blocked by Kagome. Even if Orihime is holding back she doesn't need to kill Kagome. She just has to destroy her bow.
3) Orihime is a much better hand-to-hand fighter, having defeated two Soul Reapers without using her powers. Kagome has no hand-to-hand skills at all.
No, she's a horrible character like Hinata and the Sailor Scouts.

Can that not be said for just about any female anime character? 98% of them suck at being good characters, and I can count on one hand the number of ones I'm a particular fan of (Fuu, being the first that comes to mind, and most recently Kuroneko).
As for the fight, I'm not exactly Bleach-savvy, but what I know of Inoue makes her sound more like a support character than anything else.
