Exactly.

He is the most broken character in the game. Only one that comes close is Dark Phoenix, and there are requirements for her to become her cheap version.

Yeah, wolverine in mvc3 is a problem

His rush-down can decimate an entire team, so he's usuqlly a point character with the other characters on his team spamming assists to make his moves safer
