This is Nova Prime at the completion of Thanos Imperative. No quantum bands or Opposing force for the bug. Just his control rod. Both opponents are treating this as a rematch with full knowledge of their last encounter. Can Richard win again?
Oh and just to clear this up forever, Annihilus never tanked Galactus' blast head on. That's a myth. The only thing about the scene that's up for debate is whether or not he was trying to get away from the blast, or was flying towards it when it happened. But what's not for debate is that he was shielded.
Galactus lifting up the containers that Annihilus was using to siphon the power cosmic.

So yeah, no. He never tanked that blast head on unshielded. If he gets to use the weakened excuse, so does Rider, since he's the one that was battered and bruised by the amped Annihilus, yet still pulled it out. No pun intended

I can't understand the excuse for the bug. They both tanked it with shields on. And Annihilus getting gutted is not a good feat is ridiculous. They both took on the blast. They then fight with the bug still having his amp(Qbands). Annihilus is already above Rich in power to begin with. How the fuk is that not a high feat? Yes it was good battle sense, but no one just lets himself get gutted. Minus the Qbands Annihilus still has his cosmic control rod. Sigh...
