Det. John Hobbes (Denzel Washington) has a problem from the hell, azazel he is ruining him mentally and wants after all to destroy.
In the same time Tammy Lauren (Alexandra Amberson) is freeing the portentous genie which killing family and friends insidiously for her wants to force her to make three wishes.
Desperate and helpless Hobbs is finding it way to Tammy,he wanting to talk with her about it hopeless situation (Tammy is his good friend)
Hearing Tammy this amazing story of Hobbes, is also telling him her untypical situation with the infernal genie.
Hobbes is dropping in on certain he will take the idea down azazel (which at present possessed his friend from the police station) to Tammy and she will make a wish for the genie to take Azazel(in body of his friend) to the moon and there stayed for the billion of years.
And they did it, Hobbes got with trick azazel in the body of the friend to his friend, and Tammy made a wish.
Then the wishmaster said
- as you wish...
This way so the genie moved itself and azazel in the body to the moon, in vacuo the human body is staying ripped to shreds, Azazel he had only one exit, to possess the body of the genie.
The questions is:
Whether Azazel could possess wishmaster?
If he can, what will happen later?

OK!
So Azazel is on the moon in a body that just choked to death?
And the Wishmaster is there laughing?
Can Azazel possess the Djinn?
My answer is no he can't....
If he could I can only imagine what would happen. The Djinn's power although almost limitless is still held by laws. Azazel may well be aware of such laws or maybe not. But it isn't really in the realms of the imagination to judge such things.
