I think Team 1 takes this.

Sentinel and Monarch are the weak links in Team 2.

Half of Team 1 can take down at least one of those two quite easily.

I have no idea who Sphinx is, but the rest of Team 1 are at least Multiversal threats (sans regular Phoenix).

Well, come to think of it, maybe you're right.

Some of the heavy-hitters in Team 2 are definitely multiversal threats.
Even Monarch was a Multiversal threat.
But I believe Team 1 has more powerful characters compared to Team 2.
