They are both from near the ends of their respective films. They are both dropped onto opposite sides of New York. Morra has his tailored suit and a bag of a few hundred NZT pills, and Bane has his pain-relieving mask and his combat outfit. They must both try to take over the city, however they see fit, legitimately or illegitimately, and stop the other taking power. Neither has any money, weapons or contacts, they must obtain those themselves. To win they must kill their opponent, take complete control of the city and eradicate any resistance. There will be no interference from anyone outside New York.
Well taking over the city and eradicate any resistance, Eddie Morra for the win. You just can't outsmart a guy like that. He'll probably get some high profile assassins to eventually deal with Bane as well. Let's just hope that he's smart enough not to get into a fight with Bane one on one.
Coz Bane vs. Morra one on one, Morra dies horribly. He can remember all the moves he's ever seen in movies, but his physique is not used to the strain of fighting, all he'll be doing is dancing.
Fought a bunch of thugs without being in a fight his whole life.
And during one of his benders took on a thug with a pistol and came out unscathed.
If he went postal he would become worse than Kingpin level. He would manipulate everybody around him. And think 10 steps ahead of a Bane who has to start from scratch.
A direct fight would never eventuate between them for he would have massive protection and he would not have to resort to H2H combat he would simply blow him away.
He would charm everybody into joining him. Would make millions in days through every means possible. He would buy the city, the police...everybody.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: He lives. And threatens his adversary in such a way he is practically invincible.
He is also on the definite rise to becoming the not only the next President, but alot more.
This film needs sequels. Either expanding on his story or more favorably focusing on another character who takes the villainous path.
Or even better a hero style character.
