Caine has over-the-top maneuverability as well as his shield and gun. Plus in melee, he's literally superhuman.

Solid Snake is really good, but he's disadvantaged at close and range, Caine's pretty much guaranteed to get positional advantage on him.

Can Caine stop a 300 ton mech from stomping his ass, because Snake fought Grey Fox who did just that

He also fought and restrained Vamp, who's on the level of MGS4 Raiden, same Raiden who held back Outer Haven with one arm temporarily

Big Boss also stopped Peace Walker from stomping him, same Peace Walker being even bigger than REX

And the Vamp thing is even more impressive since MGS4 Raiden was basically fighting a losing battle against Vamp every time they went head to head.

No, but it's not like Snake can either!

Vamp is an excellent example of how you don't have to be as strong as someone to beat them. He has no-where near Raiden's strength.

Really, Caine's mostly going to focus on shooting him, though he does have a couple high-tech tricks up his sleeve like the hole-maker, and his boots which can be used to do some nice damage.

No he didn't do that, but he can CQC Grey Fox who can, and then there's Big Boss, who is featwise, stronger than Grey Fox, Snake beat his ass

That was because Vamp kept healing from Raiden's attacks, a luxury Raiden didn't have. Raiden technically won their first fight as Vamp went down and Raiden was able to escape with Snake and Naomi

A perfect example of why someone should never talk about a series they know nothing about

Fox wanted to die in MGS, Naomi even confirmed that Fox wasn't out to kill him and he wanted Snake to finish him off, also his suit was malfunctioning, also he was in constant pain throughout the entire game. If Fox wanted to kill Snake he would of done so easily, considering how bad Ocelot kicked Snake's ass and how bad Vamp pwned him

Vamp pwned Snake horribly in MGS2, so bad that Snake could barely stand from the blood loss.
