Physical stats are a wash, Kalibak is the New Gods representation of Ulik. In pure hand to hand, I think the pounders would give Ulik the edge, at least during the classic days when a hit from them was devastating. In an overall fight, I'd give it to Kalibak since his rod can open boom tubes and shoot energy blasts, allowing him to get more creative and perhaps score an opening for a win/bfr.
Of course, this is Kalibak and Ulik we're talking about. So you know, strategy isn't likely to be prevalent.
