i don't recall anything to suggest that gort could take out an enemy the size of godzilla, iirc correctly he only had to face rifles and tanks. tough to determine his feats since gort was never challeneged.

There's nothing to suggest he couldn't. His nanobots ate through everything with ease, and while it's clearly going to take longer to break down opponents of that size, it's ridiculous to assume Godzilla and the Muto's are immune to billions and trillions of nanoscopic robots eating them the inside out. Also he's got a disintegration beam

I am guessing all of you are forgetting that GORT's nanobots are susceptible to powerful, long range EMPs?

Which is what happens to be the main offensive power of the MUTOs.
