Thanos by feats has accomplished far more than John in terms of prep.

If the HOTU, or IG can be used as examples, Thanos wins, and it isn't even competitive.

Preboot John was always this powerful, for all the people thinking he's suddenly some uber guy. Except post-reboot, a lot of it has been shown to be prep, whereas pre, it was prep and luck (i.e. PIS)

How do these weapons compare to a being above all other beings? When Thanos had the HOTU I'm thinking that he could traverse to a period before Constantine even had the notion of acquiring such a weapon. How could you even begin to compare the two?

Can he get the IG? I thought it was lost.

Besides, all this d!ck measuring displays of power is not what Constantine does. Thanos could show up with his entire army, the Black Order etc...

And it would be turned away because John has messed around with Mistress Death and is holding her hostage (like Loki once did), or has done a deal with her so that if Thanos forfeits the match, she will welcome him etc etc.

THAT is how he fights. Not really by raiding his armoury and coming out to fight ina massive display of power.
