Ahsoka has better dueling feats than Kanan, he's pretty much just dead weight.

Well Kanan might score a push or two on Ahsoka, but he'd do no more than hold her off until he dies. Quinlan most likely isn't going to break Luminara's defense at least not unless she counters with a force move or Kanan dies.

Kanan actually has some pretty good force feats. For example he used the force to temporary stop a cave in A New Dawn.

That is a good one, yes. Combat-wise Ahsoka's are probably more applicable.
