No, she didn't let him get the information knowingly. She already slashed the dude across the chest but he survived long enough to tell Mundi the information.
In the actual duel he didn't force her to do anything, the gunships fired at her causing her to retreat.
Bro do you not understand comic book medium? It lasted longer than two blows. + in every panel Ventress was on the retreat BEFORE the gunship opened fire.
Sure, but you were trying to pass off that they only exchanged two blows. Ten seconds is reasonable, but the possibility that the fight was longer is there. Either way, he handled himself solidly and has other feats to lean back on anyway.
Of course, but I was just responding to the "Mundi pushed Ventress back" nonsense when we only see an exchange of two blows where no advantage is apparent.
Yeah she was, in both scenes she's defending. Fight probably lasted around 20-30 seconds. And anyway the fact that Ventress opted to retreat even after Mundi was buried beneath rubble and the Clones were dead speaks a lot, as does Mundi's confidence in his ability to defeat her.
Also considering exhausted Mundi dueled Grievous for hours...yeah it is in keeping with his other feats.
No, the first panel they duel he's defending (kind of, but Ventress definitely isn't defending, either), and in the second she is. 20-30 seconds is ridiculous, honestly. The gunship just hovered there for that amount of time while they dueled?
And whether or not it's within his capabilities is not what we're discussing. We're discussing your claim that Mundi forced Ventress into a retreat, which he didn't. Seeing as how Mundi and his forces followed the senator dude, he would have likely had reinforcements nearby, so Ventress trying to engage him again would have been pointless and risky seeing as how the possibly of capture was there. Ventress' "retreat" and unwillingness to engage Mundi is more of a logical decision in my view.
Why is this hard to believe? A battalion of Stormtroopers watched for hours and Darth Vader and Kenobi dueled. What do you think this is Order 66?
Yes, she weighed her tactical options and opted for the retreat. Thus Mundi literally forced her into retreat. I don't see how this is any different than Yoda and Dooku dueling briefly and Dooku weighing his options and retreating. No one debates that Dooku was forced into retreat.
