Love Quinlan Vos vs mace windu, obi wan, Luminara Unduli wisdom only

rolling on floor laughing NO lightsabers, NO feats.

earlier I established Zao is wiser than Yoda. I forget to define wisdom in that thread here it is

this is a wisdom battle. let's define wisdom

wis·dom
ˈwizdəm/
noun
noun: wisdom

the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.
the soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of experience, knowledge, and good judgment.
"some questioned the wisdom of building the dam so close to an active volcano"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisdom

Wisdom is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight.[1] Wisdom has been regarded as one of four cardinal virtues; and as a virtue, it is a habit or disposition to perform the action with the highest degree of adequacy under any given circumstance. This implies a possession of knowledge or the seeking of knowledge to apply to the given circumstance. This involves an understanding of people, objects, events, situations, and the willingness as well as the ability to apply perception, judgement, and action in keeping with the understanding of what is the optimal course of action. It often requires control of one's emotional reactions (the "passions") so that the universal principle of reason prevails to determine one's action. In short, wisdom is a disposition to find the truth coupled with an optimum judgement as to what actions should be taken

he Oxford English Dictionary defines wisdom as "Capacity of judging rightly in matters relating to life and conduct; soundness of judgement in the choice of means and ends; sometimes, less strictly, sound sense, esp. in practical affairs: opp. to folly;" also "Knowledge (esp. of a high or abstruse kind); enlightenment, learning, erudition."[2] Charles Haddon Spurgeon defined wisdom as "the right use of knowledge".[3] Robert I. Sutton and Andrew Hargadon defined the "attitude of wisdom" as "acting with knowledge while doubting what one knows".[4]

Wisdom and knowledge have different meanings, but are often portrayed as synonyms. This is corrected by giving an example: it's wise to run a successful business because wisdom includes action. It's nothing more than smart to write a business plan proposing a successful business because knowledge is strictly cognitive. The difference in knowledge is knowing it; wisdom is doing it.[5]

a jedi's wisdom is judged based on the criteria set above, and not b/c some "fact" book says something.

Quinlan Vos I think is one of the wisest Jedi of his time in the TCW, wiser than Mace Windu, Obi wan and Luminara Unduli, possibly wiser than Yoda.

we know that Mace Windu, Obi Wan, Luminara Unduli and even Yoda enthusiastically embraced Clones. They thought clones were necessary. they trusted clones.

at the end of ep 2 ATOTC Obiwan tells Yoda that they would not have victory were it not the clones. Obiwan trusted clones as did others

In Republic, Battle of Kashykk Luminara Unduli and Quinlan Vos discussed clones. Luminara Unduli pointed out Vos does not like clones based on how he treated ARC trooper Commander Faie.

Quinlan Vos pointed out to Luminara Unduli that clones lack empathy, and that they are living weapons bred for war alone and what happens to them after the war.
.
Luminara Unduli reassured Vos that clones can be trained for good. She was shot and killed by clones, both in legends and in canon.

in legends and canon, it seems Quinlan Vos alone is the one jedi with the wisdom to discern that clones are a problem and that really jedi should not be involved with them. of course he was shot by Aaayla's ARC trooper Commander Bly

No other jedi in legends or canon seemed to show any reservations about the clones prior to order 66. true pong krell wanted to kill clones for his own pleasure but that's different from vos' reservation about the wisdom of having these living bioweapons who lack empathy.

lastly Vos seems to be the one jedi along with Zao who had resevations about the Republic. he did have a wisdom discussion with Master Kolar, asking Kolar if he had doubts about the republic. Kolar said no he agrees with the wisdom of the Jedi council support for the republic. QUinlan thougt the separatists had a lot of valid complaints against the republic, thought the republic is a sham and corrupt. he asked Kolar if you can be a separatist and a Jedi, for which Kolar said Vos duty is to obey the jedi council.

wisdom includes insight. who had insight into the republic?

we all know that yes the republic is corrupt. separatists had valid complaints which vos accepted.

Vos, one of the wisest clone wars era jedi along with Zao

mace obi wan yoda Luminara Unduli less wise for accepting clones and supporting a republic that turned against them.

instead of discussing sabers and power feats we are discussing wisdom feats and demonstrations of wisdom and insight. i've provided example of both zao and quinlan vos. feel free to counter with wisdom feats of obi wan and anakin and mace and luminar unduli and even yoda compared with vos in this thread

Windu wins:

Though Yoda's junior by hundreds of years, Mace Windu was considered his equal in terms of ability, insight, and command.

i understand that is what the —Power of the Jedi Sourcebook says but does mace decisions back up what the hype says? no.

mace decision to attempt to kill a helpless sidious help create the conditions of anakin's fall. that was unwise

Irrelevant. All show greater insight and knowledge than Vos. Vos is a hot head, with not much wisdom.

as i stated in the first post, the wisdom of a jedi is based on the decisions they make in legends or canon sources against this standard

let's define wisdom

the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.

^^^

based on the above description, Vos statement to Luminar Unduli that clones lack empathy and are just bioweapons bred for war alone shows a greater wisdom than clone-lovers like yoda obi wan unduli mace, as it was CLONES that destroyed the jedi.

Your entire post is basically Vos is wiser because his opinion was different. The clones did in fact show a love for one another, and showed some pretty high loyalty to all those Jedi until the very end with Rex and a couple others still being loyal to the Jedi so yea Vos isn't as wise a Luminara, Obi, or Mace. Anyone on team 2 solos.

yet when ordered to they showed NO EMPATHY to their victims. which Vos in his wisdom clearly discrned.

Clones not only killed jedi and younglings but anyone helping them like wookies.

Vos saw that. the other jedi did not.

Vos is wiser
