T-1000 Vs X-Men

So skynet sends the T-1000 back to kill Xavier.

Can the X-Men save their professor by terminating the liquid metal killing machine?

X-Men from first 2 movies are involved, just the good guys, no Magneto. Jean is only at pre-dambuster power levels.

How strong is cyclops beam? I mean like if he took off his visor and shot that thing full on it could destroy the T-1000, Ice man could probably freeze it up real good too, dunno what storms lighting would do to it

That beam has been stopped by adamentium, so I assume it has no limits other then that.

Cyclops was completely useless in the Movies. T-1000 would destroy him and this team (as of the first 2 movies).

I think Iceman will be the key to stopping the T-1000 here. Teamwork to set him up for his shot, and the Bobby does the rest.

Yeah but that much CIS just makes it part of the character.

Mystique was going to stab him in X1 (in the shape of Wolverine) until the real Wolverine intervened.

If Cyclops actually hits T-1000 it will mess him up. But nothing in the movies suggested he will be hitting someone as fast, dangerous and powerful as T-1000. Especially not with his shape shifting abilities.

First 2 movies Ice-Man was useless.

Last Stand and DOFP Ice-Man however would definitely be a threat. But the OP states first 2 movies only.

Do the X-men know that the T1000 is coming? Because if they don't then the T1000 can infiltrate their base and kill them one by one. Not sure how many it can go thru before being discovered but it'll definitely thin out their group.

If they're ready for it then it's a massive stomp in favor of the team.

Okay the OP never said that only feats from the first two movies were allowed. What he said was only the X-Men from the first 2 movies are involved. That does not mean they do not get their feats from X3 to me. That just means that none of the new mutants that appeared in X3 are allowed. The only person with a specific limit to feats was Jean Grey.

So with this in mind, utter stomp for the X-Men.

...why would you assume that?

Feats are admissible.
No prior warning for X-Men, too many of them to give them that advantage.
Terminator has basic information on them.

Then the terminator has a chance. Or not. I think he has a chance of killing most the X-men if he plays it smart. He'll only have trouble with the psychics.

Why just psychics? Bobby could freeze him at a distance if he sees him. The T1 would have to do some kind of stealth attack. Which if he could do that then he could probably sneak up on the psychics too, since it's not like he has a mind to read.

T1000 has shape shifting capabilites remember? All he needs to do is approach one X-men as a cop, kill that person and take his/her identity. Then go undercover from there.

As for psychics, I assumed that if he approached them and they couldn't read it's mind then they'd assume something was wrong. Maybe it would enough to spur them into action or maybe not.

If Jean or Xavier sensed an absence of a mind, they'd immediately go on high alert.

The one freezing and re assembly took a huge tax on T-1000's system, he was having major problems like ripples in his programming and his hand sticking to metal and trouble getting it off, then when he was hit with the grenade it was game over, the Xmen can do this again and again till he is out of commission.

Xmen clear with literally no effort.

If we are saying they would sense his lack of mind then this still stomps and Bobby is still dangerous, because they sense the lack of mind and then just tell him to freeze whoever the T1000 is impersonating.

Logan would also be able to smell it. Dogs go crazy around Terminator's, and Logan's got a nose like one if not better.
